NYK bolsters LNG management

Tokyo: NYK is to reorganise its shipmanagement system by setting up two companies to manage LNG carriers. One, NYK LNG Shipmanagement Ltd, will be based in Tokyo, covering the Pacific region; the other, NYK LNG Shipmanagement (UK) Ltd, based in London, will cover the Atlantic area. NYK is currently scheduled to increase the number of its LNG carriers in the Pacific from 16 to 25 and those in the Atlantic from 1 to 10.  [03/07/06]
