CKYH alters US port calls

Tokyo: The CKYH Alliance comprising Coscon, “K” Line, Yang Ming Line and Hanjin Shipping has revised US port calls for its new 5th service (AWE-5) between Asia and the US East Coast. Port rotation in the US will now be Savannah �" Charlestion �" Norfolk �" Miami, thereby giving AWE-5 what is claimed to be the shortest transit time (22 days) from Shanghai to Savannah in the industry. The service begins out of Hong Kong on July 5, thereafter calling Yantian, Shanghai and Ningbo in Asia.  [03/07/06]
