Filipino officer bridging course

Manila: After public meetings held last month in the Philippines, professional body the Nautical Institute reports that it has decided to formally launch a project to develop a short ‘bridging course’  - that could be taught locally by any qualified organisation, and accredited by the  NI - designed to help Filipino junior officers reach positions of command.  [04/07/06]
