Sea Consortium launches new services

Singapore: Sea Consortium has launched two new weekly intra-Asian services this month. TIX (Taiwan Indonesia Express) deploys two 850teu vessels with port rotation Jakarta, Kaohsiung, Keelung, Jakarta and is claimed to offer one of the fastest transit times for main lines to connect their Indonesia transpacific cargo via Kaohsiung. A revamped weekly service calling Singapore, Port Klang, Chennai, Penang and Singapore, called SMX (Singapore Madras Xpress) been also been launched jointly with MOL, each company contributing a 650teu vessel.  [23/10/06]
