Singapore: Ezion, offshore marine logistics and support services provider, secured a charter contract worth up to S$80.3m ($63.4m) to provide a North Sea Class service rig to a European oil major.
The service rig, with a contract period of four years, will be deployed in offshore Denmark by the fourth quarter of this year after its refurbishment and upgrading.
“The above mentioned project will be funded through internal resources as well as bank borrowings,” Singapore-listed Ezion said in a statement.
The company currently owns a fleet of 29 vessels comprising of tugs, ballastable barges, offshore support vessel and self-propelled barge.
